Frequently Asked Questions

We match clients based on your unique challenges, therapist specialties, availability, therapy approaches, therapy style, and more. However, if you have a particular therapist in mind please let us know. Our licensed mental healthcare professionals are experienced in working with a wide variety of mental health issues.

At this time we see clients aged 17+. We recommend reaching out to the Taylor Counseling Group or MHMR of Tarrant County.

Everyone’s different; therefore, everyone’s timeframe is different too. We consider what challenges you’re facing, what your goals are, your history, and more. From there, we provide a treatment plan with recommendations. Many individuals choose to make therapy a long-term commitment to maintain their overall mental health and wellness. We continuously review your therapeutic goals and treatment plan to gauge your progress.

Keeping it Together Counseling currently does not have psychiatrists or nurse practitioners on staff so therefore we do not prescribe medication. However, if your therapists recommends that you meet with a psychiatrist, we will provide you with a list of referrals that we trust.

Individual sessions are 50 minutes and fees range from $75-$150 depending on the experience level of the licensed therapist. Payment is due at the time of your appointment. We accept cash, all major credit cards, and checks.

Currently, we are only in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield with some therapists. For the majority, we are considered out-of-network with all insurance providers. If you wish to use your out-of-network benefits, we encourage you to contact your insurance provider to verify your out-of-network benefits. We are able to provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance provider for the purpose of reimbursement.

Keeping it Together Counseling has a 24 hour cancellation policy. To cancel an appointment reach out to us via email and we will reschedule for you. If you cancel within 24 hours you may be charged a cancellation fee, up to the full session cost.
