I’m Lindsey Southall, LCSW-S

Keeping it Together Counseling Co-Owner, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Clinical Supervisor.

I became a therapist because I had the desire to help people improve their emotional well-being and live meaningful lives. Modern life can weigh heavy on people, so many try to manage it alone. Through life’s ups and downs, they find it challenging to cope with their problems during various life stages. I am committed to helping bridge that gap, teaching skills, and helping clients heal. Therapy has the power to help you overcome the things that can hold you back and transform for the better.

Great things never come from comfort zones.

You’re not broken and don’t need to hit rock bottom to go to therapy. I believe that treatment is all about improving. As a licensed clinical social worker in Texas, I am committed to helping clients improve their lives while learning powerful coping skills and techniques that will create the desired change when put into practice. I’m not telling you it will be easy; I’m telling you it will be worth it. These skills can help solve problems, manage your stress, help you adjust to life changes and transitions, and even improve relationships. It’s not your fault for being down but your responsibility to get up.

Some of the core characteristics that I embody and nurture as a therapist include:

Who Can Benefit from EMDR Therapy?

EMDR therapy helps people of all ages. Additionally, it is known to help treat First Responders and Veterans. I am trained and certified through the Counseling Services for Firefighters, specializing in supporting first responders.

Therapists use EMDR therapy to address a wide range of challenges:

Life is filled with bends and curves, and every new experience is a chance to see things from a different perspective. Observe thoughts and behaviors with as little judgment as possible.

LEARN LIFECHANGING SKILLS

One small crack doesn’t mean you are broken, it means that you were put to the test and you didn’t fall apart (read that one more time). We equip you with tools and resources to see things differently.
